Off we go...

Boring, a no picture post.

SO...
We're moving.
Sign in yard.
House on MLS.
New house contract proceeding.
Boxes packed.
Things STACKED.
House clean, like you wouldn't believe.

So, there's the announcement, there's the big news.

10 years in Rockford. Done. Here we go! Off to E-town. We'll see what awaits.

We're sad (like you wouldn't believe) and excited.

But most importantly, we've prayed
We're at peace
and we're at peace.

So, its simple. As simple as moving can be :)

Just watch here for updates, pics of the kids and my boo-hoo bloggings that are sure to come!

Emmy and Ba (Cam's name)

She copies everything he does. Pretty cute! She got out his lightsabers today and we had a saber match...perhaps she's been to influenced? Ahhh, but no; saber abandonded and babydoll in arms...
Gettin' some love! Cam's teaching her to slide (and fight)
Cloud gazing with Daddy.

Emmy's best friend, Sasha the neigbors dog.

Cam's JOY (s)

Its a star wars ship, with the Incredible Hulk playing the part of Luke, so the ship must be an x-wing (I'm SUCH a nerd). He's SO proud!
Swinging...what could be better and by the way he's already outgrown these shoes...on to Colton they go! And yup, can you believe, riding a two wheeler! He saw a friend with the training wheels off and that was it! He had to do it too. So we took them off, he had me help him (run beside) for one evening, then he got sick of waiting for me to help him get started, so he tried alone. Seriously, he learning in ONE night, maybe two hours. Now we're off down the street on walks. He even did the big hill in the neighborhood! No falls to speak of folks, its pure summertime magic!

New Pics

Awhile ago Emmy took to wearing hats, any hat that she found laying around. And she WOULDN'T take it off. No matter how warm it was, she was wearing the thing! So, here's the proof.

Emmy usually rides this car, but Bu needed a turn
the chalk (making her escape)
FLOWER!
The slide, I let Em out and she headed straight for the slide and proceeded to go up and down without any help at all!

Chalk drawings and such...

Daddy: I drew the stick figure, but Cam added the necessary hair and glasses (ala Bob of years gone by glasses :))
Airplane (pretty good, I like the smoke out the back)
(Cam's self portrait) Look at the driveway...we were busy, even Emmy, when she wasn't eating the chalk
Bubbles

Yup, Spring has peeked and said, "Hello", but please don't count out the snow. So, we are lapping up the sunshine and counting the freedom of outdoors as a treat. I LOVE the sound of the birds and kids...what could be better? We even have a few brave lilly of the valley up and blooming!

Lots of Pictures...start with day 1 of nice weather: Chalk drawings and the like

Watching "Bu"

Emery loves to watch out the window at Cam when he's out playing...I love the pictures. Right now they pretty much love each other to pieces. Cool.

You can just see Cam out the window on the slide...

Chula Vista

We didn't take the camera to the actual waterpark, but the room was cool enough. Also, Mr. Harp being the surrogate dad...nice!!! Stu was still on the crutches/cast deal, sooooo....

Playing in the basement (the winter outdoors)

Lots of stuff going on

Emmy and the "oatmeal sensory table" and then the floor...

I'm gonna finally post some pictures, but...

...meanwhile in Jones' land...

...Stu is off crutches YEA!!!
...Em can crawl down the stairs backwards, much thanks to Camden for teaching her
...We hit an indoor waterpark (unfortunately for me, while Stuart was still on crutches)
...Stuart is now 37
...Cam is addicted to Star Wars and all things related
...I'm almost caught up on laundry and I finally finished painting the bathroom (only took 4 weeks, ugg)

HEAT WAVE

That's right, it reached 43 degrees!!!! We could go out with a JACKET. I cannot express how much this thrilled me. So, we packed up the stroller and scooter and went for a walk to visit the Lundquists down the street. HOW WONDERFUL IS IT TO WALK TO NEIGHBORS?????

Cam actually got tired about halfway there, his scootin' leg just isn't quite up to it.

Yesterday we built 2 snowmen, today went for a stroll. Ahhhhh, please come soon spring. (We're not counting this as a sign of spring, just a brief reprieve that God chose to send to one momma here that is going to go absolutely out of her mind if the kiddos can't get out OUT OUT of the house soon, so thank you God!)

the SNEEZE

So, Cam sneezes today. He doesn't cover his mouth. And the spit goes ALL over his sweatshirt. So, he turns to me and says, "Oh yuck, my bless you got all over me."

'Bout sent me over the edge.

Fun pics with the Mac

New toy, new fun

Happy ValentiMes Day

So, Cam barged into the room this morning bright and early (okay, not that early for normal people, but...) and he says, "Happy Valentimes Day". I'm not correcting it. Its right up there with Movieator (theater, which apparently he figured out now, ugg). So as we say, "I love you" all those Valentiney things to him, he then decides to get up and goes to, "see the decorations in the house". I turned to Stu (staying home for family breakfast as tonight its a late one...nice) and say, "that's gonna be one mighty disappointed little boy." However, his enthusiasm was unscathed. His joy for the day was complete, friend over to play and valentimes cards in mail and the infamous STAR WARS ones to hand out to all his buddies. He was pretty much over the top about the whole day. Pretty cool, I just love the enthusiasm from him.

On the other funny/cute/cool items:

Emmy now folds her hands for prayer and sometimes says, "ama" for amen.
She also can climb into her highchair and stand in it!
She's "reading" her books, climbs (notice a theme?) into her rocking chair and reads alone for a good 20 mins!
Her babydoll has been tucked into her cradle, then said, "ni, ni baaabe" and added her "stinky-bear" for the doll to sleep with, soooo cute.
She also has decided the nursery is not for her. This past Sunday she said, "NO" to going in. Hmmmm, we're in for trouble.
Em knows some animals and the noises they make - Doggie-Woof; Cat-Meow

Cam is happiest playing Lego Star Wars 1 with daddy. And even daddy has passed his limit on the star wars conversations, hee hee.
In one of the play sessions Stu was explaining that the lego guy, the emperor, was REALLY a bad guy, but was pretending to be good and be on his team. Cam then decided to lay into the emperor. destroyed. Stu was pretty impressed with his putting the story together.
Cam has spent the last week writing on his Star Wars Valentimes, painfully slow, but SO exciting!
We made Daddy some Valentimes cookies!
He's also been "playing" with Sissy more and more. They basically chase each other around all day...pretty cool.

Funny kiddos, there's always something going on!

Visitin' Friends

Being the crazy people we are, we loaded up the van, stuck Stu in the back with his leg and went to visit the Clarks in Indy.
Here's Cam and his buddy Julia (its luuuuvvvv - okay, maybe not, but they play together SO well. We didn't hear a peep from them all day, they were too busy playin' dress-up and ALL kinds of pretend games. So fun to see/hear their imaginations going at full speed).
AND TO THE CLARKS...WE MISS YOU! ugg. you think you're doing fine and then you visit.

Pics and Thank Yous

First, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE HELPED US THIS WEEK (and I'm sure the weeks to come). Its amazing to me the way God works thru stuff. I mean LITTLE stuff has just come together just right and made this hectic week of surgery a breeze for our family. It certainly makes you appreciate good health. I mean, it IS just a leg after all (I'm sure Stu may have more to say on that, but oh well.) BUT, again thanks to ALL who have helped out, childcare, visits, etc...it means so much.

Currently its a napping house, so I can type. Here's the update on the patient. He's home, doing great. Just on Ibuprofen right now, has stronger stuff if needed. He's on crutches and will be for at least two weeks. Can't drive, but otherwise is doing well. Thinking of taking up biking instead.... I'm sure he won't appreciate the photos, but he knew they were coming. I really want to get the xray on here, its SO cool.

New Year, New Fun

So, the story begins with Stu deciding to play hockey and ends with a visit in the hospital.

That's right, Stuart's rookie season was cut VERY shot by a broken leg. Surgery was today. All went well, one plate; ten screws. Ugg.

Hopefully I'll get some pictures up of the event, when I have the time. Have to document the yuck times as well. Anyhow, keep him in your prayers as he recovers (it'll be a long one).

Thanks
