Okay, so I thought I'd add some WORDS to all the pictures.
1. You need to know that things here are going along just GREAT! We're meeting people, making friends and the church here can't be friendlier, awesome.
2. WE MISS OUR ROCKFORD FRIENDS. So, there's the confession. I have to say as days pass I really have an appreciation for folks back in Rkfd. Each day brings a different friend to mind. Something will make me think of someone in particular who would laugh at this or that, or would speak CALM to me, or would I'm sure have a snide remark that would send me over the edge laughing, or someone who'd appreciate the funny-to-me-only story about THE KIDS.
3. All that missing confession said, we like it here. More and more each day.
There are the sounds of childhood right out my back door, crickets at night so loud you can't think. Birds in the morning, FAR too early.
The smell is there too, woods. Its awesome.
So, we're adjusting. Its much harder than I'd planned, but you guys UP NORTH you are so faithful. My phone rings at JUST the right moment, my email gets bombarded when I need it. Thanks so much. This has given me a firm appreciation for all the folks around here that are military and do this moving thing so much. Perhaps it will cause me to remember to reach out, far more than I'd otherwise be prone to.
Well, there's the words.
On the kids side of things,
Emmy likes to say "I tooted" and laugh (Cam is teachin' his Sis!)
She's a rip roarin' riot...says CHEESE for each picture, NO all the time and makes this CRAZY face when eating...just cracks us all up.
Em's got a ton of words, we just aren't too sure what they are. I do love hearing her call "Tuart" thru the house if "daddy" doesn't work.
Cam has officially dropped naps (although he is still banished to his room each day for REST) and is currently taking his desire for STUFF and turning it into earning $$ towards his STUFF. He's done all sorts of awful chores and earned 3.25 so far...he can almost smell the Go, Diego, Go backpack (its $5, almost there, maybe one more week of chores that I have to come up with)
Cam's also gotten brave on the swimming front. He's jumping with abandon into the pool and has tried without floaties some. The neighbors two doors down have a pool and a kind heart, so he's been there some.
Stu's playing some tennis (the leg's doing fine, but I still worry)
I'm reading!!! Ahhhhh, so nothing else is getting done. The library here it okay, we'll work on that. And I got a haircut. Went in today and said chop. So she did. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it...
Also, Stu and I hit 13 years this week...
Blah blah blah, there's the post of words, hope you enjoyed!

Louisville Slugger Museum, on a whim
Baseball Game
We went to a Louisville Bats game with a Sunday School Class here. VERY FUN! As we walk in a girl gets Stu and Cam and asks if Cam can be the "play ball" kid. He's the one that's going to say into the mic - "Play Ball". So, we do and its a huge hairy deal for the adults, Cam didn't really get how cool it was...but oh well.
He did, on a sweet note, give his free baseball that we got, to a kid behind us that was talking about how sad he was that he didn't get one. How nice!!
And then we got cotton candy...perfect.
Fun time...

The Beach with Aleah (amanda too)
My mom and dad are trying to sell their timeshare, so they graciously donated the place at the beach to Stu and me...Stu has a new job and kinda can't take a vacation...soooo...what's a girl to do? Call a friend and drive on!!! (or fly...Amanda and Aleah did double duty, flew, visited realtives and then got to drive a ways with the Joneses)
Hilton Head, sand, sun, waves (and my Dad flying down to drive back with me!!!) what more could you ask for?
So...here are all the cuties
FINALLY SOME POSTS
Finally...I'm back at it a little bit.
These are pics of the kiddos at the pond, just down the hill and across the road from the house. Its awesome...fish, ducks and WILD BLACKBERRIES! This is going to be a great memory place for the kids and us...we go a few times a week. Stu has to fish with Cam, but when its just me and the kids we feed the fish and ducks and call it good.
